Congratulations! You’ve made it through the 2014-15 school year! Enjoy your time off. My plans are to spend quality time with the kids, relax, take a trip to a Microsoft conference in Philadelphia, and visit my brother in Seattle. Of course, I will be completing some runs along the way. Set more goals for yourself and chase after them.
Summer. Break. So exciting. But not just yet! We will be discussing your website presentations. Don’t forget to bring your tangible item to class on Tuesday. I am so excited to see your work shown off to the entire class. It should be recognized by all. Please refrain from being nervous.
During this week, we will discuss our final exam essay requirements. You will need to complete this before final exam week so that we can use them as a script to present your websites in front of the class. Don’t be super intimidated. No one is too scary!
Page 5 is due on Wednesday! That’s it. *dances* We will also be completing our final Photoshop lesson. Everything is winding down. Please put forth your best effort on these final weeks of school. Summer is almost here.
Seniors, congratulations! This is your final few days. Make them memorable. Your final exam essay is due on Wednesday by the end of the class period. For the rest of you, we will be working on our technology tables. Attention to detail is extremely important. Your finished product will go on your last page of your website.
Did you get original pictures of your goals for your multimedia. You’ll be working on the “fun stuff” this week with these pages due on Thursday! Get that video, Animoto, and marquee completed and placed on your site. These features create a more dynamic look and feel for your visitor experience.
This week we will finalize your Index pages; They will be graded on Tuesday so make sure you double check the rubric. We will be moving on to creating you middle pages this week. A discussion of requirements will help you begin brainstorming key page components. Are you making strides toward accomplishing one goal? 🙂
THIS IS THE FINAL WEEK OF THE MARKING PERIOD! CHECK POWERSCHOOL AND GET THOSE GRADES WHERE THEY SHOULD BE IN ALL OF YOUR CLASSES!
Because of M-Step testing, our computer lab will not be available on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Please complete JOURNAL #8 by the end of the week.
